what progress did you make since your last entry?

This week i have managed to complete the second advert. This meant i had to finish editing all of the footage of the advert. As all the footage was already filmed, imported and placed in order on the time like it was only fine cuts and tightening up the footage to make the video more smooth and clean. Other than finishing off fine cuts we had to fine background music and add the graphics and voice over at the end. the voice over and graphics was not difficult at all as we just used the same set up from the first advert.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

This week as we didn't have to use any equipment other than the Mac, using Final Cut express. This gave us little risk of having any logistical challenges and luckily we didn't come across any logistical issues. One small problem we came across was finding a way to download the music we choice, this didn't take too long to find a reliable and high quality convert, but it did hold us back for a fair amount of time.

what techincal challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

Just like the logistical challenges we did not come across any technical challenges either. The only problem really once again was music. it took us a while to find out what song we wanted and even once we found the song we it took us a while to get volume and timing quite right. Other than these minor musical problems everything else ran smoothly.

what targets do you aim to acheive before your next entry?

As we have now finished the project and have no more time to create a 3rd advert we will be starting our next task. This will most likely be writing up an evaluation on the adverts i have created.
